Oh well... I'm sure it just gets better from here! Gotta love menopause, gals. Things can get hot and sweaty even while you are standing in the grocery line! Patti will just be glad when it's all over. So will I, for that matter.<br /><br />There is a particular kind of freedom that growing older brings, a phenomenological realignment of one's self identity, if you will. When does it happen, that realization of growing old(er)? I don't remember the moment but it happened. Is it some kind of chemical image re-balancing that comes with menopause? Genetically pre-programmed to suddenly turn us into the grandmother in Little Red Riding Hood? I hope not! I don't mind being the grandmother but I'll take Katherine Hellman's version over Grimms'.
